Eleni Neville: Dealing With Fear of Commitment in a Romantic Relationship | Reloscope #8

There are many factors that can contribute to a fear of commitment. From negative experiences, worries of rejection, insecurities, and more. These factors could affect us when we want to start a relationship, especially a romantic relationship with someone we love. How do we move past this issue?

In this episode of Reloscope: The Relationships Science Insights Podcast, host Aditi Kutty is joined by Eleni Neville, a qualified relationship therapist, psychotherapist, and sessional lecturer, with tertiary qualifications in Couple & Relationship Counselling, Sociology, Social Work, & Holistic Counselling.

Eleni is passionate and inspired to support individuals and couples in times of relational distress and vulnerability. She supports individuals and couples with issues that reflect communication struggles and dynamics, with loss of connection and intimacy, parenting tensions or blended families, cultural differences, infidelity, polyamory, feelings of ambiguity, trauma, separation, and grief and loss.  She even has further worked extensively with LGBTQI couples.

Eleni supports couples to understand their relationship dynamics and patterns more deeply, to work towards accepting their differences, to attend to unresolved hurts, and to re-establish their emotional bonds. Her 15 years of dedication to the field of therapy reflects her belief that life and relational experience can be enhanced through self-exploration and consciousness, human potential, compassion, courage, and loving responsibility.

Eleni and Aditi talk a lot of things about commitment issues, factors of people having commitment issues, and good steps to tackle the fear of having commitment issues.
